NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Committee on County Affairs will meet in a joint hearing with the Committee on Defense and Veterans' Affairs to hear invited testimony only. 

The hearing will be at the Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk Hotel, San Antonio Ballroom, located at 111 East Pecan Street, San Antonio, TX 78205.

The joint hearing will investigate the following interim charge:

Study the implementation of SB 462 (83R). Examine which counties currently have veterans courts, as well as veterans courts in other states, and determine how those programs are working and whether these courts provide additional services or resources for veterans. Make appropriate recommendations.
