The committee will hear invited testimony regarding practical and financial considerations for implementing a paperless charging system for processing criminal cases.

In particular, the committee will explore how such a paperless system would handle Class C Misdemeanors and offenses listed under Texas Code of Criminal Procedure §14.06, while keeping in mind the potential for expansion of a paperless system to handle all offenses.
