Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) in Article III of the bill, immediately following the appropriations to the Texas Education Agency, by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:

____. College Preparation Assessment Instruments. From funds appropriated above in Strategy B.1.1, Assessment and Accountability System, the commissioner of education shall allocate $7,000,000 in each fiscal year of the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017, to pay costs associated with administering college preparation assessment instruments under Sections 39.0261(a)(1) and (2), Education Code.
