Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) in Article III of the bill immediately following the appropriations to the Texas Education Agency by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:
____. Reasoning Mind. From funds appropriated above in Strategy B.2.1, Technology/Instructional Materials, the commissioner of education shall allocate $2,250,000 in each fiscal year of the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017, to support the Reasoning Mind program. Any unexpended balances as of August 31, 2016, are appropriated for the same purpose for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2017.
