Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) in Article III of the bill, following the appropriations to the Texas Education Agency, by adding the following appropriately numbered rider and renumbering subsequent riders accordingly:
____. Report on Number of Charter School Students Who Do Not Complete a School Year. Out of funds appropriated above, the Texas Education Agency shall annually collect information from each open-enrollment charter school concerning the number of students enrolled in the charter school who do not complete the school year at the school.
