System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
(1) On page V-34, amend the Department of Public Safety Strategy B.1.4, Extraordinary Operations, by reducing appropriations by $2,000,000 in general revenue funds in each fiscal year.
(2) On page V-34, amend the Department of Public Safety Strategy E.1.1, Crime Laboratory Services, by increasing appropriations by $2,000,000 in general revenue funds in each fiscal year.
(3) On page V-45, add the following appropriately numbered rider:
____. DNA Testing and Storage - Border Counties. From funds appropriated above, $2,000,000 in general revenue funds in each fiscal year in Strategy E.1.1, Crime Laboratory Services, shall be used for DNA testing and DNA database storage for cases that involve border related deaths in border counties, with particular emphasis on cases with unidentified human remains and migrant death repatriation.
