Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  In Article V of the bill, in the appropriations to the Department of Public Safety, reduce the general revenue appropriations for Strategy B.1.2, Networked Intelligence (page V-34) by $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and by $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2017.

(2)  Following the appropriations to the Parks and Wildlife Department in Article VI of the bill, add the following appropriately numbered rider:

____.  Additional Funds for Game Wardens. In addition to any other amounts appropriated to the Parks and Wildlife Department for purposes of funding Strategy C.1.3, Law Enforcement Support, for the fiscal years ending August 31, 2016, and August 31, 2017, the amount of $1,000,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and the amount of $1,000,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2017, to the Parks and Wildlife Department for the purpose of providing funds for law enforcement oversight, management, and support.

(3)  Adjust totals and methods of financing appropriately.
