Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  Reduce the appropriations from the general revenue fund to the Department of Public Safety for Strategy B.1.4, Extraordinary Operations (page V-34) by the amount of $2,920,144 for each state fiscal year on the 2016-17 biennium.

(2)  In Article III of the bill (page III-136) in appropriations to Texas Southern University increase the appropriations from the general revenue fund to Texas Southern University for Strategy C.3.1, Institutional Enhancement by a total of $2,920,144 for each state fiscal year of the 2016-17 biennium.
