Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) in Article V of the bill, following the appropriations to the Department of Public Safety, in Rider No. 51 (page V-44), by striking "Included in the 300 total troopers is a minimum of 250 troopers who shall be stationed in the border region. In this section, border region is defined in Article IX, Section 7.11(b)(1), (2), and (3) of this Act." and substituting "The 300 troopers shall be stationed throughout the state.".
