Amend CSHB 1 in Article I of the bill pattern for the Comptroller of Public Accounts, by adding the following appropriately numbered rider and renumbering subsequent riders accordingly:

____: Consistent with the Comptroller's responsibility, the Comptroller shall provide to each member of the legislature a report detailing all funds deposited with the State of Texas through court settlements. The report shall include the following: (1) the amount deposited; (2) if the amount was deposited into general revenue or into a special account; (3) the remaining balance of each fund deposited; and, (4) the intended purposed or use of the funds deposited. The Comptroller shall provide the report on or before December 31st of each calendar year.
