Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) in Article VII of the bill, following the bill pattern appropriations to the Texas Department of Transportation, by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:
____. Lone Star Rail District. Out of amounts appropriated above from the general revenue fund to the Department of Transportation in Strategy E.1.2, Contract Rail Plan/Design, the amounts of $2,645,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $2,645,000 in fiscal year 2017 shall be used to provide operational funding for the Lone Star Rail District.
