Amend CSHB 1 in Article X on page X-2, strike Rider 3 (Unexpended Balances) of the bill pattern for the House of Representatives, and substitute the following:
3. Unexpended Balances. Any unobligated and unexpended balances remaining as of August 31, 2015, from appropriations made to the House of Representatives are on September 1, 2015 appropriated, in equal amounts, to the Operating Account of each member of the House of Representatives.
Any unobligated and unexpended balances remaining as of August 31, 2016 from appropriations made to the House of Representatives are on September 1, 2016 appropriated, in equal amounts, to the Operating Accounts of each member of the House of Representatives.
