Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  Under the Article XI appropriations to the Historical Commission (page XI-2), add the following appropriately numbered rider:

Texas Heritage Trails Program. In addition to other amounts appropriated by this Act to the Historical Commission for the purposes of Article I, Strategy A.1.4: Historic Sites (page I-58) the amount of $2,000,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and the amount of $2,000,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2017.

(2)  Adjust the Article I Subtotals (page XI-3) under Article XI accordingly.
