Amend Amendment No. 275 by Ashby to CSHB 1 as follows:

(1)  On page 1 of the amendment, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following:

(2)  Under the Article XI appropriations to the Texas Historical Commission (page XI-2), add the following appropriately numbered rider:

____.  Texas African American History Memorial. In addition to other amounts appropriated by this Act to the Historical Commission, the amount of $1,500,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, for the purpose of construction and maintenance of the Texas African American History Memorial on the Capitol grounds.

(2)  Renumber subdivisions of the amendment appropriately.
