Amend CSHB 1 as follows:

1)  On page Article XI-4, increase appropriations to the Department of Family and Protective Services by $____ in fiscal year 2016 and $____ in fiscal year 2017.

2)  On page XI-23, add the following rider:

____.  Contingency Appropriation for HB 600. Contingent upon the enactment of HB 600, or similar legislation relating to child protective services and employees of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), by the Eighty-Fourth Legislature, Regular Session, DFPS is appropriated $____ in fiscal year 2016 and $____ in fiscal year 2017 to implement the provisions of the legislation.
