Amend Floor Amendment No. 1 by Representative Otto to CSHB 1 (page 3, prefiled amendment packet) by amending subsection (1) as follow:
(1) On page XI-7, under "Public Education, Texas Education Agency", add the following new itemitems:
Contingency General Revenue Appropriation for School Finance Legislation, HB 1759, which improves equity, reduces recapture, and increases the state share: $800,000,000
Contingent on HB424, which provides full-day prekindergarten for eligible children under Section 29.153, Education Code: $829,908,513 in fiscal year 2016 and $837,431,047 in fiscal year 2017
