Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) under the Article XI appropriations to the Department of Criminal Justice (page XI-15) by adding the following appropriately numbered riders:

____.  Contingent Appropriation: Unit and Psychiatric Care for the Department of Criminal Justice. Contingent on the enactment and becoming law of HB 35 or similar legislation of the 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, relating to the amount of the discount allowed for prepayment of sales and use taxes, in addition to other amounts appropriated by this Act, the amount of $4,432,542 is appropriated from the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and the amount of $1,674,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2017, to the Department of Criminal Justice for Strategy C.1.8, Unit and Psychiatric Care, for the purpose of replacing critical capital equipment.

____.  Contingent Appropriation: Managed Health Care Pharmacy for the Department of Criminal Justice. Contingent on the enactment and becoming law of HB 35 or similar legislation of the 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, relating to the amount of the discount allowed for prepayment of sales and use taxes, in addition to other amounts appropriated by this Act, the amount of $620,000 is appropriated from the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, to the Department of Criminal Justice for Strategy C.1.10, Managed Health Care-Pharmacy, for the purpose of replacing critical capital equipment.
