Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  Under the Article XI provisions for the Alcoholic Beverage Commission (page XI-15) add the following appropriately numbered provision:

____.  Contingent Appropriation: Enforcement Related to Solicitation to Buy Drinks for Consumption by an Alcoholic Beverage Retailer. Contingent on the enactment and becoming law of HB 3982 or similar legislation of the 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, relating to the solicitation to buy drinks for consumption by an alcoholic beverage retailer, and in addition to other general revenue amounts appropriated to the Alcoholic Beverage Commission, the amount of $927,054 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and the amount of $587,079 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2017, to be used to hire and train additional personnel to enforce the provisions of HB 3982 or similar legislation.

(2)  Adjust the article totals and methods of financing accordingly.
