Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) in Section 7.11, Article IX, of the bill (page IX-39) by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:

(d)  In each report submitted under Subsection (a) by the Department of Public Safety, the department shall include the total number of motor vehicle stops in this state during the reporting period, classified by county, that involved a commercial vehicle or an alleged violation of a traffic law. The department shall indicate whether the motor vehicle stop resulted in the issuance of a warning or citation to any occupant of the vehicle. In the department's first report submitted under Subsection (a), the department shall report the information required by this subsection for motor vehicle stops occurring on or after September 1, 2007.
