Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) under the Article XI appropriations to the office of the attorney general (page XI-1) by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:

____. Contingent Appropriation for HB 1446. Contingent on the enactment of HB 1446 or similar legislation of the 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, relating to reimbursement of certain medical costs for victims of certain sex offenses, the amount of $3,000,000 is transferred out of the general revenue fund to the compensation to victims of crime fund and is appropriated to the office of the attorney general for the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017, for the purpose of implementing that legislation.
