Amend CSHB 1 as follows:
(1) In Article XI, add the following contingency rider:
____ Contingency for HB 3017: Special Education Allotment Residential Care and Treatment. Contingent on passage and enactment of HB 3017, or similar legislation relating to modifying the weight identified in §42.151(b) of the Texas Education Code, by the Eighty-Fourth Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, the Texas Education Agency is hereby appropriated $20,000,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $20,000,000 in fiscal year 2017 out of the Foundation School Fund No. 193 in Strategy A.1.1., FSP-Equalized Operations, to implement the provisions of the legislation.
