Amend CSHB 1 as follows:

(1)  In Article XI, add the following contingency rider:

____. Contingency for Bill Adding Law Enforcement Officers at the Office of the Attorney General to the Law Enforcement and Custodial Officers Supplemental Retirement Fund. Contingent on passage of legislation that would make commissioned law enforcement officers at the Office of the Attorney General an eligible member of the Law Enforcement and Custodial Officer Supplemental retirement fund, by the Eighty-Fourth Legislature, Regular Session, the Employees Retirement System is appropriated $____ from [Method of Finance] for the additional state contribution of 0.5 percent of covered payroll each fiscal year of the 2016-17 biennium.
