Amend Amendment No. 338 by Alvarado to CSHB 1 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  In Article I of the bill, add the following appropriately numbered rider after the appropriations to the Office of the Attorney General:

____.  Additional Funds for Domestic Violence High Risk Teams. In addition to the other amounts appropriated above for Strategy C.1.2, Victims Assistance, in the state fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2015, the amount of $2,000,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund to the Office of the Attorney General for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and the amount of $2,000,000 is appropriated out of the general revenue fund to the Office of the Attorney General for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2017, for the purpose of providing funds for grants to establish domestic violence high risk teams.

(2)  In Article V of the bill (page V-34), in the appropriations to the Department of Public Safety, reduce the appropriations from the general revenue fund to the Department of Public Safety for Strategy B.1.4, Extraordinary Operations, by the amount of $2,000,000 for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2016, and by the amount of $2,000,000 for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2017.

(3)  Adjust article totals and methods of financing accordingly.
