Amend CSHB 1 in Article II of the bill, by inserting the following appropriately numbered rider following the appropriations to the Health and Human Services Commission (page II-95):
____. Contingency for HB 817. Contingent on HB 817 or similar legislation being enacted by the Eighty-Fourth Legislature, or from a rule or policy established by the Health and Human Services Commission, the agency shall, out of funds appropriated above, appropriate the necessary funds for the purposes pursuant to the provisions of the legislation.
