Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  In Article I of the bill, in the appropriations to the Trusteed Programs Within the Office of the Governor (page I-52), strike the appropriations for Strategy C.1.4, Texas Enterprise Fund, for each fiscal year of the biennium.

(2)  In Article I of the bill, following the appropriations to the Trusteed Programs Within the Office of the Governor, in Rider 1 (Performance Measure Targets), in Part C (Goal: Economic Development and Tourism) (page I-53), strike the outcome measures for the Number of Unduplicated Jobs Announced by Companies Receiving Grants from the Texas Enterprise Fund.

(3)  In Article I of the bill, following the appropriations to the Trusteed Programs Within the Office of the Governor, strike Rider 24 (Contingency for Texas Enterprise Fund) (page I-58).

(4)  In Article IX, Part 18, of the bill, strike Section 18.05 (Appropriations to Trusteed Programs within the Office of the Governor) (page IX-78).

(5)  Adjust article totals and methods of financing accordingly.
