System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
(1) On page V-34, amend the Department of Public Safety Strategy B.1.1, State Grants to Local Entities, by reducing appropriations by $2,000,000 in general revenue funds in each fiscal year.
(2) On page V-34, amend the Department of Public Safety Strategy E.1.1, Crime Laboratory Services, by increasing appropriations by $2,000,000 in general revenue funds in each fiscal year.
(3) On page V-45 add the following appropriately numbered rider:
____. Crime Laboratory Backlog. From funds appropriated above, $2,000,000 in general revenue funds in each fiscal year in Strategy E.1.1, Crime Laboratory Services, shall be used to outsource evidence testing for the purpose of reducing the Department of Public Safety Crime Laboratory backlog.
