Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) in Article VII of the bill, following the appropriations to the Department of Transportation, in Rider 17, Bond Programs (page VII-25), by adding Subsection g. to read as follows:

g. out of amounts appropriated under subsection (a), the Department of Transportation shall allocate $15,000,000 in each fiscal year of the state fiscal biennium ending August 31, 2017, for the purposes of funding rural transit districts as authorized by Chapter 458, Transportation Code.
