System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
Amend CSHB 1 as follows:
1) On page Art XI-4, increase appropriations to the Department of Family and Protective Services by $200,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2017.
2) On page XI-23, add the following rider:
____. Contingency Appropriation for HB 2053. Contingent upon the enactment of HB 2053, or similar legislation relating to the protection of certain children who may be subject to child abuse or neglect through the operation of the child safety check alert list, by the Eighty-Fourth Legislature, Regular Session, DFPS is appropriated $200,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2017 to implement the provisions of the legislation.
