Amend Floor Amendment No. 421 by Hughes to CSHB 1 (page 290 of the prefiled amendment packet) as follows:
(1) On page 1, line 4, strike "Rail Project. The" and substitute "Rail or High Speed Rail Project. (a) The".
(2) On page 1, lines 6-7, strike "rail project" and substitute "rail or high speed rail project".
(3) On page 1, line 9, strike "rail project." and substitute the following:
rail or high speed rail project.
(b) For purposes of Subsection (a) of this rider, "high speed rail" means a passenger rail service that is reasonably expected to reach speeds of at least 120 miles per hour.
