Amend CSHB 11 (house committee report) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:
SECTION ____. Subchapter C, Chapter 71, Government Code, is amended by adding Section 71.0354 to read as follows:
Sec. 71.0354. SMUGGLING OF PERSONS INFORMATION. As a component of the official monthly report submitted to the Office of Court Administration of the Texas Judicial System, a district court or county court at law shall report the number of cases filed for the following offenses:
(1) smuggling of persons under Section 20.05, Penal Code; and
(2) continuous smuggling of persons under Section 20.06, Penal Code.
