System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
Amend CSHB 11 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 8, line 18, between "REVIEW" and the period, insert "; REPORT".
(2) On page 9, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following:
(c) Every six months, the department shall report to the legislature improvements made to the department's information technology system during the preceding six month period. If the department contracts with a private contractor to improve the department's information technology system during the period covered by the report, the report must contain:
(1) the total amount paid or to be paid by the department to the private contractor under the contract; and
(2) a statement explaining why the department could not use the services of current department employees to perform the work specified in the contract.
