Amend CSHB 225 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 8, line 24, strike "A" and insert "(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a".
(2) On page 9, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following:
(b) A pharmacist is not required to provide the counseling described by Subsection (a) if the opioid antagonist:
(1) is approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration; and
(2) is labeled for administration by a person described by Section 483.102.
