System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
Amend CSHB 1184 (house committee report) as follows:
(1) On page 3, line 7, strike "or".
(2) On page 3, on line 11, between "reuse" and the period, insert the following:
; or
(R) performed under a contract related to a pilot program operated by the Energy Systems Laboratory at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, in consultation with the Texas Facilities Commission and the State Energy Conservation Office, that:
(1) establishes and implements energy efficiency improvements to state-owned buildings maintained by the commission;
(2) generates savings in utility costs resulting from the improvements resulting in at least a 30 percent return on the costs of the improvements; and
(3) provides for any money attributable to utility
cost savings resulting from the pilot program to only be appropriated to the commission
