Amend CSHB 1690 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  On page 4, lines 15-16, between "was" and "elected", insert "initially".

(2)  On page 4, line 16, strike "that" and substitute "statewide".

(3)  On page 4, lines 16-18, strike "or another office of the executive branch subject to that requirement that the defendant held immediately before being elected to the office being held by the defendant".
