Amend CSHB 1690 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) Between page 3, line 27 and page 4, line 1, insert the following:
(c) A prosecutor to whom a complaint has been referred under Section 41.353(b) shall disclose to the court if the prosecutor, in either a personal or professional capacity, has ever made a campaign contribution to or received a campaign contribution from the person against whom the complaint was made or a political committee organized for the benefit of the person against whom the complaint was made. The court shall consider a disclosure made under this subsection in determining whether good cause exists for recusal.
(2) On page 3, line 1, strike "(c)" and substitute "(d)".
(3) On page 3, line 7, strike "(d)" and substitute "(e)".
(4) On page 3, line 11, strike "(e)" and substitute "(f)".
