Amend CSHB 1692 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  On page 1, line 8, between "state" and the period, insert "or a derivative claimant of a legal resident of this state".

(2)  On page 1, line 10, strike "on an individual basis,".

(3)  On page 1, line 16, between "whether" and "to", insert "to deny the motion or".

(4)  On page 2, strike lines 1 and 2 and substitute the following:
