Amend CSHB 2722 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  On page 1, line 20, strike ""ambulance," "police," or "fire"" and substitute ""ambulance" or "police"".

(2)  On page 2, line 5, immediately after the underlined semicolon, insert "or".

(3)  On page 2, line 6, strike the underlined semicolon and substitute an underlined period.

(4)  On page 2, strike lines 7-16.

(5)  On page 2, line 20, between "504.502" and the underlined period, insert "or privately owned vehicles used in the course of firefighting functions".

(6)  On page 3, line 14, between "Code," and "unless", insert "or a private individual seeking to use the vehicle for firefighting functions".
