System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.
Amend CSHB 3302 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 1, line 5, strike "392.004 and 392.005" and substitute "392.004, 392.005, and 392.006".
(2) On page 3, between lines 11-12, insert the following:
Sec. 392.006. LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. The department shall establish a landscape management program to permit a business or other private entity to manage the landscape of the state highway system rights-of-way. The program must include a process for submitting and approving an application for landscape management that does not incur costs for the department. A business requesting approval for landscape management shall pay the cost of the landscape management completed by the business.
