Amend CSHB 3476 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  Strike the recital to SECTION 1 on page 1, lines 7-9, and substitute the following:

Section 531.02164, Government Code, is amended by amending Subsections (a) and (c), as amended by SB 219, Acts of the 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, and adding Subsection (c-2) to read as follows:

(2)  On page 3, line 14, strike "and" and substitute "[and]".

(3)  On page 3, strike line 17 and substitute the following:

Resources Code; and

(4)  provide reimbursement for home telemonitoring services in the event of an unsuccessful data transmission if the provider of the services attempts to communicate with the patient by telephone or in person to establish a successful data transmission.
