Amend CSSB 893 (Senate Committee Printing) as follows:
(1) In the recital to SECTION 5 of the bill (page 2, lines 56 and 57), strike "Sections 21.352(a) and (c), Education Code, are amended" and substitute "Section 21.352, Education Code, is amended by amending Subsections (a) and (c) and adding Subsection (g)".
(2) In SECTION 5 of the bill, amending Section 21.352, Education Code (page 3, between lines 19 and 20), insert the following:
(g) The commissioner shall develop a training course to assist and provide support to school administrators in successfully implementing teacher appraisal processes under this section.
