Amend CSSB 1497 (senate committee report) as follows:

(1)  In the recital to SECTION 1 of the bill (page 1, line 27), strike "Sections 21.058(a), (c), (c-2), and (e)," and substitute "Sections 21.058(c) and (c-2),".

(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, strike amended Section 21.058(a), Education Code (page 1, lines 29 through 41).

(3)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, amending Section 21.058(c-2), Education Code (page 2, lines 1 and 2), strike "Subsection (c) [(c)(2)(B) or (c-1)(2)]" and substitute "Subsection (c)(2)(B) or (c-1)(2)".

(4)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, strike amended Section 21.058(e), Education Code (page 2, lines 3 through 6).

(5)  Strike SECTIONS 2, 3, and 4 of the bill (page 2, lines 7 through 54), and renumber subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly.
