A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the issuance of specialty license plates to honor |
|
|
recipients of certain military medals. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 504.315, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (j) to read as follows: |
|
|
(j) The department shall issue specialty license plates for |
|
|
recipients of the Commendation Medal for each branch of the |
|
|
military. License plates issued under this subsection must include |
|
|
the emblem of the appropriate medal and must include the name of the |
|
|
medal at the bottom of each plate. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
