A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|

|
relating to providing certain legislative information on the |
|
|
Internet in Spanish. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 301, Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 301.052 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 301.052. INTERNET WEBSITE. The home page of each house |
|
|
of the legislature that may be viewed by the public on the Internet |
|
|
must be made available in both English and Spanish. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect January 1, 2016. |
