A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to Gainesville Hospital District. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Sec. 1077.106(b), Special District Local Laws |
|
|
Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(b) The district may: |
|
|
(1) purchase, construct, acquire, repair, or renovate |
|
|
buildings and improvements; |
|
|
(2) mortgage or pledge the buildings or improvements |
|
|
as security for payment of the purchase price; |
|
|
and |
|
|
(32) equip buildings and improvements for hospital |
|
|
purposes. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
