A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the fee charged by a county clerk for issuing |
|
|
noncertified copies of certain documents. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 118.0145, Local Government Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) A county clerk shall reduce the fee provided in Section |
|
|
118.011 to 10 cents for issuing a noncertified copy of a page or a |
|
|
portion of a page of a document if the document is: |
|
|
(1) a proposed or adopted county budget; |
|
|
(2) any comprehensive annual financial report of the |
|
|
county; |
|
|
(3) any notice of a regular meeting of the |
|
|
commissioners court; or |
|
|
(4) any regular meeting agenda of the commissioners |
|
|
court. |

|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
