A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to multiple methods of voting at the same polling place. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 123.005(b), Election Code, is amended to |
|
|
read as follows: |
|
|
(b) Except as otherwise provided by this title, regular |
|
|
paper ballots may not be used at any [a] polling place if [using] a |
|
|
voting system is used in the election. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Section 123.005(a), Election Code, is repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
