A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the permitting of crematories under the Texas Clean Air |
|
|
Act. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 382, Health and Safety |
|
|
Code, is amended by adding Section 382.069 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 382.069. PERMITS BY RULE FOR CREMATORIES. In |
|
|
establishing requirements for a permit by rule, the commission must |
|
|
use the same criteria and requirements for animal crematories that |
|
|
are used for human crematories. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
