A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the permit requirements for wastes received from |
|
|
ocean-going vessels. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 361.090, Texas Health & Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(f) Waste received by a facility for collection, handling, |
|
|
storage, processing, and disposal from an ocean-going vessel or |
|
|
other watercraft that generated the waste is considered to be waste |
|
|
that results from or is produced by the facility under section |
|
|
(a)(1 |
|
|
). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
