A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to fees of office for the directors of a municipal utility |
|
|
district. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 54, Water Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Section 54.104 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 54.104. PER DIEM. A director is entitled to receive a |
|
|
per diem of not more than $100 a day for each day the director |
|
|
actually spends performing the duties of a director. The per diem |
|
|
may not exceed $4,800 a year. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
