A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to reactivation of certain real estate broker licenses.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Subchapter H, Chapter 1101, Occupations Code, is
  amended by adding Section 1101.3631 to read as follows:
         Sec. 1101.3631.  REACTIVATION OF BROKER LICENSE. (a) A
  person whose license as a broker was on inactive status on August
  31, 2011, and who has a degree in real estate from an accredited
  college or university may reactivate the license without complying
  with the requirements and procedures for obtaining an original
  license.
         (b)  This section expires January 1, 2017.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
